2020 Pinotage-   Limited Release

This grape originated in S.A. as a cross pollination between Pinot Noir and Cinsault.  Here we refine the wine in the cellar by pressing off the skins early to avoid over extracting. The result is a wonderful wine that has a potpourri and berry aroma.  The palate has notes of pomegranate and raspberry with an unmistakable velvet soft full body.   Neutral French oak for 5 months.  Melrose Vineyard / Southfork Vineyard.
